About Me

Hello! I'm Cole Johnson, a Mechanical Engineering Senior at Purdue University, also pursuing a minor in Management.

My interest in Mechanical Engineering began with a love for hands-on projects and seeing ideas come to life through design and manufacturing. I enjoy tackling complex mechanical problems, finding creative solutions, and bringing those solutions into reality. 

I am passionate about robotics, especially animatronics for themed entertainment. I'm fascinated by the combination mechanics, electronics, and art required to create lifelike motion and engaging characters. My goal is to contribute to experiences that bring joy and wonder, much like the theme parks that inspired my engineering path.

Outside of academics, I enjoy hiking, wake surfing, and working on cars. I also dedicate time to personal robotics projects which allows me to continuously refine my design and building skills.

Ultimately, I aspire to work in the themed entertainment industry, creating inspiring and memorable experiences for audiences worldwide.
